This may seem self-explanatory but it is the main purpose of the lead magnet, so it is our #1 way to help your business. If you do not gather new leads, your business will not grow. You got the lead, so now what? This next part is very important. You need to build a relationship. You need to engage with your contacts via social media, email, a blog, or pretty much any way you want to get the word out. If someone becomes a lead through your lead magnet, they most likely are interested in other things you have to say too. So, keep providing good knowledgeable info.
It Provides Value to You and Your Audience
Whatever you are providing will inform others that you know what you are talking about. It will add value to your brand as you are knowledgeable and can be trusted. It can also provide value to your audience because they can learn something new or collect something that will help them. Just be sure you actually know what you are talking about and have good intentions. If you are trying to gather as many emails as possible just to SPAM them, your reputation will be destroyed!
It is Sharable
Yes, you will reach people who you don’t know and gather their info which is the point. But what about the people who also share it with others and you reach people that are not even on your radar. Each lead magnet will have a specific audience in mind but when that audience shares it with others, you get a bonus!
